So close to the pot of Gold but it only stayed for 2 minutes and was gone, about 3.30pm 4th March 2008 Watergate.

It dose not show here but the background sky was so black and the sun so bright the colours of the rainbow run down into the grass verge in front.

The other end of the rainbow but too far to reach, near the Church Hall.

Great Hits tour of all six Electric Light Orchestra and E.L.O. Part II former members (now called The Orchestra)

Mik Kaminski (born Michael Kaminski, 2 September 1951 in Harrogate, North Yorkshire) played violin for the Electric Light Orchestra between 1973 and 1979.

He made his first professional performance with the Leeds Orchestra, when he was 14. During his time at the Leeds School Of Music he founded the band Cow, together with his friends John Hodgson (drums) and John Marcangelo (keyboards and percussion). In 1973 he joined Joe Soap and played violin on their Keep It Clean album. Their producer Sandy Roberton suggested Kaminski to Andy Roberts, who needed a violinist for his album. Thus Kaminski played in 1973 on Roberts's Andy Roberts And The Grand Stampede LP.

In 1979, Mik formed, during his "off time", a band called Violinski. They toured the UK releasing two albums and enjoying an enormous hit with one of pop's great instrumental singles "Clog Dance", furthering Mik's reputation as a fine exponent of violin virtuosity.

A couple of years after Mik had taken part in ELO's final live shows in 1986, he and Kelly Groucutt called up some basic influences of their former band to put together a new ensemble, OrKestra. The band gave Mik another platform upon which to shine, where his compositional work could flourish. Two superbly crafted albums, a European hit single and successful tours of the UK and USA were all part of OrKestra's worthy career.

Mik's song writing skills are there for all to hear on ELO Part II's four albums while his ear for inventive tunes and intertwining counter-melodies are captured forever in the magical moments of every band in which he has been involved.
