Hi

I am researching my grandfathers family they lived at Methley, surname Flockton. I know that at one time some of them lived at Low Common. I know my gggrandfather Daniel Flockton was married at St Oswalds, Methley in 1865 to Mary Wright, they had several children, one being my ggrandfather John Edward Flockton born 1882 Methley, my grandfather John Flockton was born 1911 at Whitwood. I hope to get in contact with someone who remembers or knows anything about the Flockton family from Low Common, or even better if anyone can come up with information of the house number they lived at (long shot I know). I'm finding it hard trying to research my ancestors living so far away, so I would be grateful for any information that is passed my way.

I wonder if anyone remembers the Matthews family. Ted was churchwarden during these dates. I am his daughter Angela. My friends were Susan Elstob and Janet Tomlinson. My mother was Laura. Charles Young was rector at the time.

I'm researching the Patricks of Methley. My husband is a descendant of
Charles Patrick and Elizabeth (Greaves), son of John Patrick and
Margaret (Bleasby). but that is as far back as I can trace. I would
appreciate any information that you may be able to add. Thank you!
